The Kids' Safehouse of Eddy County has served the community for over 10 years.  While the signature task of the Safehouse is the investigation of allegations of child abuse, United Way funding helps support the following tasks: Community education through publications, presentations to community organizations and agencies, development of the board of directors and volunteers, maintenance of a child-friendly/agency-friendly facility, the training of volunteers in appropriate activities and maintaining staff professional licenses and excellence through continuing education and subscriptions to professional literature.
