After a comprehensive review of several 2018 Community Impact Grant requests, many factors were taken into consideration when grant awards were decided. Considerations include an organization’s short and long term logic model outcomes and outputs, program planning, collaboration between local agencies, timely reports, campaign participation, attendance in Participating Agency meetings, and promoting the agency as a United Way Community Partner. Our Allocations Committee focused on filling the basic needs in the community and helping the most vulnerable as a priority.
After our allocations committee review the applications, they provided a recommendation to our Board of Directors and the recommendation was ratified on March 15, 2018 at our regularly scheduled Board of Directors meeting.
